Why Grigora?

Being bloggers, we always searched for different themes which would be great for our new projects and can maintain good performance. There are over 4,500 WordPress Themes and still, there are only handful of them that are actually usable and can perform well.

Frustrated over the same process of finding and choosing the theme, we decided to release our own theme “Grigora” (fast/quick in Greek).

Grigora Blocks has one significant advantage over classic themes, Full Site Editing. You can easily create templates and edit the whole website in seconds, just like Page Builders, without installing any plugin!

Motive

Currently, WordPress is dominated by heavy Page Builders like Elementor, Divi, Oxygen, Beaver, and countless plugins. Yes, these Page Builders can easily make your website look good, but at what cost? Speed and Server Load.

Slower speed often makes the users leave the pages without even loading. And don’t even forget the server load which these page builders bring upon!

With Grigora Blocks, we actively focus on the Patterns and Styles introduced in Wordpress 5.9. These Patterns are Styles are feather-light and highly customizable. Not only that, with this new tech in-hand, editing a website has now become as easy as writing a post 🙌

Yes, Grigora Blocks is absolutely free. Moreover, its open sourced so that every user can have access to the source codes.

How to contribute to Grigora Blocks?

Head over to the GitHub Repository and fork it. Make your changes and create a pull request. Admins will verify the changes and allow the commit merge.

How to install Grigora Blocks?

Grigora Blocks is approved by the WordPress Theme Moderation team. Moving forward, you can directly install the theme by searching it in your WordPress Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes. If you’re looking for most beta updates, you can look out for releases section of GitHub.

How to use Grigora Patterns?

Head over to Appearance > Editor to edit the website. Now press the + button to add new block from to top left header. Now head over to the Patterns tab and select the pre built patterns to import directly.

How to customize the website’s look after installing Grigora Blocks?

Head over to Appearance > Editor to edit the website. Make use of Gutenburg Blocks to customize as you need. Look out for the styles for each blocks on the right hand side panel.
