A Unbounce alternative when the bill should not follow the traffic

Unbounce prices your campaign by how many people see it, then caps it, then bills $80 for every extra block of 10,000 visits. And when the campaign works, you still do not have a website: no blog, no store, no checkout, no list. Grigora is the whole site from $12/mo, and it does not count your visitors.

Quick answer

Is Grigora the right Unbounce alternative?

Grigora is an Unbounce alternative when you need a full business website, blog, newsletter and store. Unbounce is a stronger fit for dedicated campaign landing pages, A/B tests and conversion optimisation. Preserve campaign tracking and test requirements before replacing it; a website builder is not a direct substitute for an experimentation tool.

Choose Grigora if you want…

  • A plan that does not get more expensive when a campaign works
  • The blog, the shop and the subscriber list on the same domain
  • Checkout on the page instead of a third-party embed
  • A free trial before choosing a managed website plan
  • Organic traffic to be worth chasing, not a line item

Stick with Unbounce if you…

  • •Live inside paid campaigns and need real split testing
  • •Need ad-to-page message match across many ad groups
  • •Run client campaigns and want unlimited sub-accounts
Bottom line: Unbounce charges you by how much traffic converts. Grigora charges you for the website that traffic was supposed to land on.

Why people switch from Unbounce to Grigora

The four moments that send Unbounce customers looking, and how Grigora answers each.

1

The campaign worked and the invoice noticed

Exceeding an Unbounce visitor allowance can trigger plan changes. Grigora uses bandwidth and other usage allowances, so compare page weight and expected traffic before choosing.

2

The 500-visitor floor on the cheapest plan

Starter is $22 a month billed annually for five pages and 500 monthly visitors, with no A/B testing, no popups, no pixels and no integrations. One decent week of ads exhausts it.

3

The website was still somewhere else

No blog, no CMS, no navigation, no cart and no email sending means Unbounce is one line in a stack. Grigora replaces the stack with a single subscription from $12 a month.

4

The features you signed up for were two tiers up

A/B testing begins at $112 a month billed annually and Smart Traffic at $187. Teams that bought Starter or Build to try the idea discover the idea is not in their plan.

What Unbounce does well

  • Native unlimited A/B testing with manual traffic allocation and confidence intervals
  • Smart Traffic routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert
  • Dynamic Text Replacement and Script Manager for keyword-level ad parity
  • Unlimited client sub-accounts for agencies from the $74 annual plan

Where Unbounce falls short

  • Monthly unique visitor caps with an $80 charge per extra block of visits
  • No blog, CMS, site navigation, store, checkout or email sending
  • Testing, Dynamic Text and Smart Traffic only from $112 and $187 a month
  • Unbounce says the Classic Builder is not yet fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, because its absolute positioning rules out relative text sizing and flexible element positioning

Grigora vs Unbounce: feature by feature

A category-by-category breakdown, pricing, AI, design, e-commerce, email, SEO, performance, and support.

The visitor meter and the $80 block

Fit: Grigora

This is the part that surprises people in month three. Unbounce plans include a monthly unique visitor allowance: 500 on Starter, 20,000 on Build, 30,000 on Experiment and 50,000 on Optimize. Go past it and clause 4.4 of Unbounce's terms sets an overage fee of $80 for each additional 10,000 visits, rounded up so a partial block still costs the full $80. Your pages keep running and you get warned first, but a campaign that lands well arrives on the invoice. Grigora Starter has 20 pages and 50 GB bandwidth, Pro has 50 pages and 200 GB, and Business has unlimited pages with 500 GB bandwidth. Storage and subscriber limits also vary by plan.

Takeaway: Unbounce counts unique visitors. Grigora has bandwidth limits, so compare the expected campaign traffic and asset weight on both.

Split testing and Smart Traffic

Fit: Unbounce

The honest concession, and it is a big one. Unbounce runs unlimited A/B tests inside the same builder that made the page: unlimited variants, manual traffic allocation, confidence intervals in the reporting, and the ability to promote or deactivate a variant. Above that sits Smart Traffic, a contextual router that sends each individual visitor to the variant most likely to convert for them rather than crowning a single champion. Unbounce's current help doc says it leaves the learning phase at about 30 visitors. Grigora has no split testing at all. If your growth model is iterative testing against ad spend, this category decides it.

Takeaway: If the page exists to be tested rather than to be found, Unbounce wins this outright and Grigora does not compete.

Ad message match, pixels and popups

Fit: Unbounce

The second concession. Dynamic Text Replacement swaps headline copy to match the keyword or URL parameter a visitor arrived on, so one page can mirror hundreds of ad groups automatically. Script Manager installs tracking pixels across the account instead of page by page. Popups and sticky bars are a separate surface with their own triggers, targeting and scheduling. Grigora has custom code injection on every paid plan, which covers a pixel, but nothing that replaces the ad-parity layer. Note the tiers: popups start at the $74 annual plan and Dynamic Text Replacement at $112.

Takeaway: For keyword-level ad parity across a big account, nothing in a general website builder comes close to Dynamic Text Replacement.

A campaign page is not a website

Fit: Grigora

Unbounce's unit of work is a single standalone page, plus popups and sticky bars. There is no blog, no content model, no collections and no site navigation, and its own documentation treats a multi-step funnel as chained landing pages rather than a site. That is a design decision, not an oversight: blogging is expected to live on the WordPress site you publish Unbounce pages onto. Grigora starts from the site and the campaign page is just one more page on it.

Takeaway: Unbounce assumes you already own a website. If you do not, that assumption is the whole problem.

Taking the money on the page

Fit: Grigora

Unbounce does not process payments. There is no cart, no checkout and no commerce row anywhere in its plan comparison, and its own ecommerce page positions Unbounce as pre-cart pages feeding a storefront you already run. Its help article on adding a Stripe checkout warns in bold that this is "not an official Unbounce feature" and that support cannot help if it breaks. Grigora ships a real catalogue with variants, stock and digital downloads, and takes 0% platform commission.

What happens after the form

Fit: Grigora

Unbounce captures the lead well and then hands it over. There is no subscriber list, no broadcast sending, no automation and no autoresponder. The only email it sends on your behalf is an internal notification to your team; the nurture sequence belongs to a connected ESP or CRM such as Mailchimp, HubSpot or Salesforce. Worth knowing: "email marketing" appears in Unbounce's navigation as a traffic source you can use, not a feature you get. Grigora includes the list, the campaign builder, automations and segmentation on every paid plan.

Earning traffic instead of buying it

Fit: Grigora

Unbounce provides per-page metadata and indexing controls for campaign pages. A landing page can rank when its content matches a search need, but Unbounce does not replace a full blog and CMS workflow. Grigora provides those publishing tools. Both still need useful content, internal links and crawlable pages.

What $22 a month actually buys

Fit: Grigora

Unbounce Starter is $29 a month, or $22 billed annually. It gives you five landing pages, 500 monthly unique visitors, one user and one root domain. It does not give you popups, sticky bars, A/B testing, custom scripts or pixels, multi-step forms, Dynamic Text Replacement or a single integration. Practically everything Unbounce is known for starts on the $74 plan or higher. Grigora Starter is $12 a month billed annually and the CMS, the store and the newsletter are all in it.

Running campaigns for clients

Depends on your needs

A real split. Unbounce is built for agency delivery: unlimited client sub-accounts from the $74 annual plan, copying pages and popups between clients, flexible permissions, unlimited subdomains, ten or more root domains on the Agency plan, and a WordPress plugin that publishes pages onto a client's existing site without touching their CMS. Grigora answers differently. It has no sub-account model, but White Label at $199 a month lets you resell the entire platform under your own brand and your own pricing, which Unbounce does not offer at any tier.

Read from unbounce.com/pricing on 11 September 2026, including the page's structured pricing data, and cross-checked against unbounce.com/compare-plan-features/ the same day. Annual figures are the per-month rates Unbounce prints; it does not publish yearly totals. Concierge and Agency are custom priced. Unbounce's own comparison page carried older headline prices that day, so check the pricing page itself. Some CTAs carry promotional asterisks whose terms page was unreachable, so it is not possible to confirm which prices are temporary. Availability is also restricted in some countries, which Unbounce does not document.

Grigora Starter is $12/month billed annually and includes CMS, store and newsletter within published usage allowances. Unbounce Starter is $22/month billed annually for five pages and 500 visitors; check the higher tier required for experiments and campaign tools.

The real cost: Grigora vs Unbounce

Take one realistic case. A small team runs paid campaigns into about 30,000 monthly visitors, publishes a blog, sells two products and emails a list of 7,500. Here is what each side bills for that year, and where Grigora loses.

Unbounce plan rates and visitor caps read from unbounce.com/pricing on 11 September 2026. The overage figure is from clause 4.4 of unbounce.com/terms-of-service/, read the same day: effective 10 November 2025, $80 per additional 10,000 visits "or part thereof", rounded up per block. The clause does not state whether the same block size applies to Starter's 500-visitor cap. Payment-processor fees apply wherever a checkout exists.

Is Grigora the right Unbounce alternative for you?

Where the visitor meter stops making sense, and where Unbounce keeps the brief.

Best Unbounce alternative for businesses that want one website

The campaign page, the blog, the shop and the contact form live on one domain and one bill, instead of Unbounce beside a WordPress site beside a store beside an email tool.

… for anyone whose traffic is growing

Grigora does not count monthly visitors, so a post that takes off or a campaign that outperforms does not trigger a $80 block or a plan upgrade.

… for teams that sell rather than just capture leads

A native catalogue with variants, stock and digital downloads at 0% platform commission, rather than pasting third-party checkout code Unbounce will not support.

Unbounce is the right call if the page exists to be tested

If your budget is in Google and Meta and your lift comes from split tests, Smart Traffic routing and keyword-level Dynamic Text Replacement, Unbounce does that job better than Grigora and this page will not argue otherwise.

Which one is right for you?

Choose Grigora if…

  • You need a website, not one page beside a website
  • You do not want traffic growth to change your invoice
  • The site has to take payments without an unsupported embed
  • The newsletter and the list should be in the same plan
  • You want organic search to be a channel, not an overage

Choose Unbounce if…

  • •Paid media is your main channel and testing is the job
  • •You need Dynamic Text Replacement for ad message match
  • •You deliver campaign pages to clients under sub-accounts

How to switch from Unbounce to Grigora

Unbounce pages do not export as a site, so this is a rebuild rather than an import. The good news is that there is usually very little of it: most accounts hold a handful of campaign pages, and the AI draft covers the surrounding website you never had. Before moving everything, test a representative content export and check supported import formats. Keep media backups, reconcile product variants and retain subscriber consent and unsubscribe records; an export does not guarantee a direct import.

5 migration steps from Unbounce to Grigora, detailed below
A planning checklist, not an automated transfer. Read the steps below before changing your live site.
  1. 1

Count what the meter was actually costing

Pull your visitor numbers for the last twelve months against your plan cap, and add any $80 overage lines. That figure, not the headline plan price, is the number to compare.

  2. 2

Generate the site you were missing

Describe the business in a sentence and Grigora produces a first draft with pages, layout and copy, including the home, about and contact pages Unbounce never held.

  3. 3

Rebuild the campaign pages as pages

Recreate each Unbounce page in the block editor on your own domain. Keep the headline, the form and the proof. Accept that any running split tests end here.

  4. 4

Move the leads and the products

Export contacts from whichever ESP or CRM Unbounce was feeding and import them into Grigora's subscriber list, then load your catalogue into the store with Stripe or Razorpay connected.

  5. 5

Redirect, re-point the ads, then cancel

Keep the old service active while you test the new site. Match existing URL paths or configure permanent redirects, verify canonicals and the sitemap, and test forms and checkout on mobile. Change DNS after these checks, then monitor indexing and errors before cancelling services you no longer need. Rankings may change during a migration.

Why people look for an Unbounce alternative in 2026

Unbounce has been the default answer to one question since 2009: how do you get a campaign page live, tested and optimised without a developer. It still answers that question well. The people who leave are rarely disappointed by the pages. They are usually reacting to two things at once, which is that the price moves with their traffic and the product was never meant to be their website.

The visitor allowance is the real price tag

Every Unbounce plan carries a monthly unique visitor cap. Starter allows 500, Build allows 20,000, Experiment allows 30,000 and Optimize allows 50,000. Clause 4.4 of Unbounce's terms of service, effective 10 November 2025, sets the overage fee at $80 for each additional 10,000 visits, and the wording covers a partial block too, so exceeding your allowance by a single visitor still costs the full $80. Twelve thousand visits over your cap is $160. Twenty-two thousand over is $240. Unbounce does not switch your pages off, and it warns you by email and in the app first, which is fair. It is still a pricing model where the better your campaign performs, the more you owe, and where an unexpected press mention or a post that spreads is a cost rather than a win. Grigora Starter has 20 pages and 50 GB bandwidth, Pro has 50 pages and 200 GB, and Business has unlimited pages with 500 GB bandwidth. Storage and subscriber limits also vary by plan.

A landing page was never supposed to be a website

This is not a criticism so much as a description. Unbounce has no blog, no CMS, no content model, no collections and no site navigation. The unit of work is a standalone page, plus popups and sticky bars, and its own documentation treats a multi-step funnel as a chain of landing pages rather than a site. There is no cart, no checkout and no payment processing anywhere in the product, and the plan comparison table has no commerce row at all. Its own help article for putting a Stripe checkout on a page states that this is "not an official Unbounce feature" and that support cannot assist if it breaks. There is no email sending either: Unbounce notifies your team when a lead arrives, and everything after that belongs to a connected ESP or CRM. So the honest shape of an Unbounce setup is Unbounce plus a website plus a store plus an email platform. If you already run all three, that is a reasonable arrangement. If you were hoping Unbounce would be the website, it will not be.

The features you came for start at $112 a month

Unbounce's reputation rests on split testing, Smart Traffic and Dynamic Text Replacement. None of those are on the cheapest plan. Starter, at $29 a month or $22 billed annually, gives you five pages, 500 monthly visitors, one user and one root domain, with no A/B testing, no popups or sticky bars, no custom scripts or pixels, no multi-step forms and no integrations at all. Popups, pixels and integrations arrive on Build at $99 a month, or $74 billed annually. A/B testing and Dynamic Text Replacement arrive on Experiment at $149, or $112 billed annually. Smart Traffic, scheduling, advanced targeting and visitor attributes arrive on Optimize at $249, or $187 billed annually. Unbounce does not publish yearly totals anywhere on the pricing page, only these per-month annual rates, so plan your budget from the monthly figure. One more thing worth checking before you commit: on the day this page was written, Unbounce's own plan comparison page still showed older headline prices that contradicted its plan rows, and several calls to action carried promotional asterisks whose terms page returned a 404, so it is not possible to confirm which of these prices are permanent.

There has also been a lot of corporate motion behind the product, which some buyers weigh and others ignore. Crest Rock Partners took a controlling stake in 2020. Unbounce acquired Snazzy AI in 2021 and the analytics firm LeadsRx in January 2022, cut 47 roles in August 2022, and appointed Steve Oriola as chief executive in January 2024. In July 2024 it merged with the CRM company Insightly, another Crest Rock holding, creating a two-brand group with Unbounce as the parent. The standalone Smart Copy app was discontinued on 28 January 2026, although AI copywriting remains inside the landing page builder. None of that means Unbounce is going anywhere, and this page does not suggest it is, but it does explain why the roadmap now points at CRM and paid conversion rather than at anything resembling a website.

How Grigora compares

Grigora starts from the opposite assumption. The thing you are building is a business website, and a campaign page is one page on it. That changes both what you get and how it is priced.

One managed subscription for the site and publishing workflow

Starter is $12 a month billed annually, or $15 month to month, and a free trial is available before choosing a paid plan. That plan includes an AI-generated first draft of the site from a sentence of description, website templates, a block editor with custom code injection, a CMS with posts, categories, author profiles, directories and moderated comments with admin replies, email marketing with a subscriber list, campaign builder, automations and segmentation, and a store with a catalogue, variants, stock and digital downloads at 0% platform commission on Stripe or Razorpay. Hosting, SSL and the CDN are included, and so are metadata and schema controls, sitemaps, IndexNow submission and free SEO tools. Pro at $20 a month takes you to two sites, 40,000 AI credits and 7,500 subscribers. Business at $45 a month takes you to five sites, 250,000 AI credits and 25,000 subscribers. Grigora uses bandwidth allowances rather than the same unique-visitor meter. A traffic spike can consume Grigora’s bandwidth allowance, so forecast page weight and total usage. That matters most to anyone whose plan is to earn traffic rather than only buy it, because on Unbounce an organic visitor consumes exactly the same allowance as a paid one while the product gives you nothing to rank with.

Where Unbounce still wins: the test, not the site

Be clear about the trade, because it is a real one. Grigora has no A/B testing. No variants, no manual traffic allocation, no confidence intervals in the reporting, and nothing like Smart Traffic, the contextual router that sends each individual visitor to the variant they are most likely to convert on and which, per Unbounce's current help documentation, starts optimising after about 30 visitors. Grigora has no Dynamic Text Replacement, so it cannot rewrite a headline to match the exact keyword behind the click across hundreds of ad groups, and it has no popup or sticky bar builder with triggers, targeting and scheduling. It also has no client sub-account model, where Unbounce offers unlimited sub-accounts from the $74 annual plan and can publish onto a client's existing WordPress site. If you run a demand-generation team whose lift comes from testing against paid spend, those are not niceties, they are the job, and Unbounce is the better tool. The question worth asking is simply which problem you actually have. If it is squeezing more conversions out of ad budget, stay. If it is that you are paying by the visitor for something that is not your website, Grigora is the one subscription that covers the site, the shop, the blog and the list from $12 a month.
