Platform-specific guides
Different platforms need different title treatments.
WordPress + Yoast
- 1.Paste chosen title into post title field.
- 2.Use Yoast "SEO Title" for slightly different SERP version.
- 3.Yoast snippet preview verifies title fits 60-char limit.
YouTube Studio
- 1.Paste in Title field (100-char max).
- 2.Use first 60 chars for the hook — rest may be truncated on mobile.
- 3.Test thumbnail-title pairing in YouTube Studio A/B tests.
Gmail / Outlook
- 1.Paste in subject field.
- 2.Verify preview text (first 90 chars of body) supports the subject.
- 3.Avoid all-caps and multiple exclamation marks — trigger spam filters.
Next.js MDX
- 1.Use title in frontmatter `title:` field.
- 2.Render as H1 via your layout component.
- 3.Update Open Graph `og:title` to match.
Webflow CMS
- 1.Paste in Name field of CMS collection.
- 2.Use separate SEO Title Tag field if different version needed.
- 3.Preview how it renders via Site settings → SEO.

Common title mistakes & fixes
The 8 most common title failures — and the 10-second fix for each.
Titles too generic
Fix: Your topic is too broad. "Cooking" → "Sheet-pan vegan meals for busy parents". Specificity → specific titles.
Missing your target keyword
Fix: Put the exact keyword in the topic input. The AI copies keywords from input but won't invent them from context.
Titles over 70 characters
Fix: Google truncates at ~65 chars in SERPs. Re-run with "Short titles only" flag (coming soon) or manually trim.
Clickbait too strong
Fix: Switch tone from "Urgent" to "Professional" or "Authoritative". Avoid "You won't believe..." patterns.
No numbers in listicle outputs
Fix: Pick "Listicle" style explicitly. "Auto mix" doesn't guarantee number-based titles.
Email titles too long
Fix: Select "Email subject" platform — output caps at 50 chars. Using "Blog post" for emails produces truncated subjects.
All titles look the same
Fix: Happens when topic and style are too narrow. Use "Auto mix" to get varied angles.
Missing emotional hook
Fix: Add "emotional" or "with payoff" to your topic description. Or pick "Curiosity gap" style.
